Trading courses: synthetics, forex and gold
The academy's training has a specific aim: for you to know why you enter, how much you can lose and what you will do afterwards. No signals, no 'infallible systems', no promises of profitability. Here is what is taught, in what order and how it is practised, so that you can decide with the information in front of you.
This page is the map of the trading courses offered here. If you still don't know where to start, the recommended route is in learning trading, and who is behind the training, in the academy.
What we teach and in what order
| Block | What you learn | How it is practised |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Understanding the product | What a synthetic index is, who generates the price, which families exist and how it differs from forex and gold. | Guided reading + identifying instruments on the platform. |
| 2. Platform and contract | Locating the symbol specification: contract size, tick, point value, margin, spread and trading hours. | Exercise: complete the profile for three instruments with your own data. |
| 3. Risk and size | Risk per trade, daily and weekly limits, lot calculation and the effect of correlated positions. | Calculate dozens of different sizes until it becomes automatic. |
| 4. Reading structure | Where an idea is invalidated, how a range, a breakout or a correction is defined, and how a target is set before entering. | Mark the chart and write the rules before opening anything. |
| 5. Management and record-keeping | What to do with an open position (break-even, partial closes, structure-based trailing stop) and how to record it. | Trading journal with result in R and the reason for each decision. |
| 6. Measurement and review | Expectancy, payoff, losing streak, drawdown and how to decide whether a variant is alive or dead. | Reviews in blocks of 50 trades. |
| 7. Automation | What can and cannot be delegated to an MT5 EA, using the in-house tools. | Install and test tools on demo, without delegating judgement. |
The details of the synthetics block are in the syllabus of the synthetic indices course.
Three ways to learn here
| Format | What it is | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|
| Public guides | The content of the guides section, open and free: product, instruments, trading and risk. | For those who want to understand the market before deciding whether to invest in training. |
| Training with support | Live classes, method materials and tools for MetaTrader 5, inside the private student area. | For those who want structure, error correction and access to the in-house tools. |
| Mentoring | Review of trading and record-keeping with a mentor, with measurable objectives. | For those already trading who need to adjust what isn't working. |
What you will NOT find
- Signals to copy. The correct size depends on your capital, your currency and your tolerance; following other people's instructions does not teach or protect you.
- Promises of profitability. No serious person can guarantee results in leveraged products, and advertising regulations prohibit it anyway.
- "Infallible systems". The synthetic market is random in its undefined part: what can be measured is management, not being right.
- Shortcuts without practice. Without screen time, logging and review, there is no judgement; only information.
What you need to get the most out of it
- Realistic time: one or two hours a day spent practising and reviewing, not ‘looking at charts’.
- Demo account first (and a live account only once the method has been measured).
- A disciplined log from the first trade, even if it is on demo.
- Accepting risk as part of the work: most retail accounts lose money, and training serves to manage that risk, not eliminate it.
Frequently asked questions
What do you learn on a synthetic indices course?
The product, the contract specification, calculating position size by risk, validating the idea, managing the position and logging to measure. All with demo practice and written rules.
How much time is needed?
The concepts of risk and execution are absorbed in weeks; building judgement requires months of logging and review. Promising otherwise is advertising.
Are signals provided?
No. The training aims for you to build and measure your own system. Copying signals leaves your risk in someone else's hands.
Do you need experience or a lot of capital?
No experience is needed. Small capital limits the minimum tradable size: if the minimum lot forces you to risk more than your plan allows, you practise on demo or increase your capital.
Do you teach forex and gold?
Yes: synthetics, forex and gold. The skeleton of the method is the same, and what is specific to each market changes (hours, point value, costs and catalysts).
Which trading course is most suitable for getting started?
The order is always the same: instrument, risk and size, and only then the entry and exit method. If you are starting from scratch, follow the path of learning trading; if you already trade and what is failing is risk calculation or logging, start with trading operations.

Before deciding anything, read the guides: they are written with the same standards we use in class and do not require you to register anywhere.
